VII. Other Coaching Sessions
· Exploring the learnings with the client
· Providing new distinctions and insights for the client
· Refining current self-observations and/or practices
· Providing new reading, self-observations and/or practices
· Addressing breakdowns the client may have experienced since the last session
VIII. End of the Coaching Program
· Assessment by coach and client that purpose and outcomes are met
· Competence by the client (long-term, self-correcting and self-generating)
· Coach no longer needed – Client can do ‘it’ alone!
* Typically, management/leadership coaching programs require a commitment of at least 4 months and up to 12 months, depending on the topic of work. Generally, there are 2 sessions per month (60-90 minutes each), with assignments between sessions. On average, most programs run 9-12 months.
